  1. Dave from Sample Resumes For Headshots Says:

This reminds me of a band some of my friends used to play in called White Devil In The Trailer Park. They were never very good, but it was always funny to hear them play. I think it may have been mostly because of the name. There’s a whole trailer park culture in this country that’s kind of a joke to everyone who doesn’t live in it, and I think is kind of a joke to people who do as well. It’s like smoking crack–how can you take that 100% seriously?

You said “late” did Country Dick pass on. That makes me really sad. I’ve been a fan for a long time. Saw them play in a hole in the wall in Stockton CA. It was outrageous.

    I’m bummed.

Sadly Country Dick Montana died from a heart attack during a Beat Farmer’s concert in 1995. I guess he died on stage, doing what he loved to do. :(

  4. David Driscoll Says:

Reminds me a little of the scene from the Blues Brothers - Bob’s country bunker, with a serving of Gordon Ramsay Language chucked in for good measure.

This is a great clip - a sad loss to music

Hmmm, never heard of them, but good song. Always sad to hear when someone talented passes on.

Two lead guitarist and three lead vocalists’ was an unusual mix and made for a unique sounding band. They came to England for a month in 1985 but I did not get to see them
