Here’s the intro to the cult Science Fiction TV Show Firefly, the Ballad of Serenity
I missed this show when it was on Fox but I’ve caught it via Hulu just recently. I regret not catching it sooner. If you’re a Sci-Fi fan you can’t miss this show.
Here are the lyrics
Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don’t care, I’m still free
You can’t take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain’t comin’ back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can’t take the sky from me
There’s no place I can be
Since I found Serenity
But you can’t take the sky from me
I watched it and I liked it. I also liked the music in the intro. It is really rare to find a tv show with a good music score these days.

I was so into Firefly… that was a total bummer when it was canceled.

I too was a big fan of Firefly. It’s too bad that shows like that don’t make it when incredibly stupid reality shows are on almost 24/7 these days.
I never watched it when it was on Fox. My brother turned me onto it right after the movie came out. I have to agree with the lame tv shows that are on. “Reality” tv SUCKS. I’m surprised that Supernatural made it considering it had almost no viewers but then again, it was the CW. I can’t help but think if Firefly had started out there as well it might still be on the air.

nice video - looks like a good show
It is a brilliant show, and a really nice video. I really liked the show. It was such a shame it was cancelled.
Superb show.
The lyrics is promising serenity though the most bitter part is that at this point of time watching tv is really a nightmare for me. I bet there could be a dvd or bluray release with which I can catch up all the episodes.

I wasn’t able to watch it, but I suppose it was great. Many devoted fans wanted a second chance, I don’t know if it ever will, but hopefully it would. Moreover, the intro was good, thinking it’s of a science fiction
I am one of the million fans blessed with the opportunity of watching this on fox directly, also I personally admire Joss Whedon.
I have seen the TV show and the movie. Both are good alternatives without a good spaceship series. I wish they would bring back another Star Trek, but doesn’t look like it will happen.
