If you’re considering a pet iguana, make sure to consult an animal shelter in your area so that you can adopt one should one be available.

    I agree you really need to take into consideration all aspects of caring for an Iguana before you purchase it. While they are cool to look at they are high demand reptiles that will require you to stay on top of their care.

    I love Iguanas and agree with the above posters that there is much research to be done before endeavoring into keeping one as a pet. If cared for properly Iguanas can live around 15, 20, even 25 years, this is a big responsibility.
