It may be kind of boring but, believe it or not, Lean Manufacturing training that helps a company improve its Value Stream can really help them stay in business and prosper in spite of a bad economy. Hey, if it helps you keep your job in these tough economic times it’s worth being a little bit bored.

We use a bit of a modified VSM approach to generate a list of process steps before doing the “full monty” value stream exercise.
VSM can really help you know where to start with your Lean efforts.
