Knowing how to fix it yourself is really empowering. I hate being dependent on Microsoft. I like to buy them cheap from ebay for the spare parts.

Great info here. The red ring of death can be a real pain to deal with. Luckily I haven’t had any problems with my xbox yet

I am always impressed at the ingenuity of them geeks. It is unbelievable can someone can come up with fixes like this one. Makes you wonder if big business purposely sells defective stuff to generate more revenue.
